Texas Tech Women’s Golf Battles Into Final Round at Paradise Invitational

The Texas Tech Red Raiders women’s golf team is making noise in Florida as they compete in the Paradise Invitational at Osprey Point Golf Club in Boca Raton.

After two rounds of play, the Red Raiders sit seventh in a loaded 16-team field, posting a team score of 590 (+14). Texas Tech opened the tournament with a round of 300 (+12) before responding with a strong second-round score of 290 (+2) — showing steady improvement heading into the final day.

Zaretsky Leads the Charge

Senior Lauren Zaretsky has been the standout performer for Texas Tech, currently tied for fifth place individually at three-under-par (141). Her consistent rounds have kept the Red Raiders within striking distance of the tournament leaders, sitting just four shots off the top spot on the individual leaderboard.

With championship Sunday ahead, Texas Tech will look to continue climbing the standings and finish strong against one of the nation’s toughest early-season fields.

Final Round Set

The final round of the Paradise Invitational tees off Wednesday, February 4, at 9 a.m. CT, as the Red Raiders aim to surge up the leaderboard and close out the event with momentum heading into the rest of the spring season.

All eyes will be on the scarlet and black as Texas Tech chases a statement finish in Boca Raton.
