Lady Raiders Handle UCF, 73–55, Stay Perfect in Big 12 Play

The Texas Tech Lady Raiders sent a loud message to the rest of the Big 12 on their home floor, rolling past UCF 73–55 in a statement win that showcased exactly why this team is turning heads nationally.

From tip-off to final buzzer, Texas Tech controlled the pace, dictated the tone, and smothered UCF defensively. The Lady Raiders jumped out early, built separation in the first half, and never allowed the Knights to seriously threaten. This was four quarters of focus, physicality, and confidence.

The star of the night was Jalynn Bristow, who delivered a player-of-the-game performance. Bristow poured in 21 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and swatted 2 shots, making her presence felt all over the floor. Whether it was timely buckets, strong drives, or rim protection, Bristow was automatic when Texas Tech needed a play.

Defense once again fueled the Lady Raiders’ success. Active hands, sharp rotations, and relentless pressure forced UCF into tough possessions and turnovers, allowing Texas Tech to turn stops into points. The energy inside the arena never dipped, especially as the lead continued to grow in the second half.

With the win, Texas Tech improves to 14–0 overall and 2–0 in Big 12 play, opening conference action at home in dominant fashion. This team looks confident, connected, and hungry—and the rest of the conference has officially been put on notice.

Final Score:
